For this Night of Burons 2021 organized by the Regional Natural Park of Aubrac, the municipality of Argences-en-Aubrac welcomed, at the Buron des Contractats, the troop of The Authors’ Kitchen.

Jérôme Pouly, member of the Comédie française, offered a culinary show, mixing literature and cuisine … The show team stayed a few days on the Aubrac platters, in order to meet local producers (Roland Carrié, from Mas Hermet, Séverine Fagegaltier, from Ferme Lou Brenac and Christelle Anglade, from Saveurs des Terres d’Aubrac) in order to concoct the final toast of the show: onion compote with dandelion flower jam, slices of Tome de Brenac and dried meat… All washed down with the first Château Beauregard wine from Causse de Coubisou.

Everything was gathered for an extraordinary evening, a family welcome in a magnificent setting, a large audience, curious, surprised and won over by the literary stories of Jérôme who knew how to dialogue with young and old, put in the kitchen the representatives of gastronomy and trigger the laughter of the spectators.

Applause standing up, provisions made, lovers of comedy, literature and gastronomy came down from the mountain at nightfall, making an appointment for future meetings in the burons of Aubrac …
