Lady Gaga, powered pop icon in 2008 with her album The Fame, will be featured in Ridley Scott's upcoming film (Alien, Blade Runner, Thelma and Louise). After being acclaimed at the cinema in 2018 in romance A Star is Born Oscar-winning Bradley Cooper, the singer turned actress will play Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci.

Eighteen years in prison
Heir to the luxury ready-to-wear and leather goods house bearing his name, Gucci left Reggiani in 1985 after twelve years of marriage. Ten years later, the heir was found murdered. Accused of fomenting the murder, Reggiani spent eighteen years in prison before being released in 2016.
The one the press nicknamed the "Black Widow" will be at the heart of Scott's next project, which is currently working on medieval film The Last Duel and who is preparing a series for HBO Max, titled Raised by Wolves.

Screenwriter Roberto Bentivegna will adapt The Gucci Saga, published in 2001. An investigative book by Sara Gay Forden, which is titled English Gucci House: A sensational story of murder, madness, glamor and greed.
After having told All the money in the world (2017) The story of the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III, grandson of the oil tycoon of the same name, through the eyes of his mother embodied by Michelle Williams, Scott continues his reflection on the family tragedies of big capital with the character of Patrizia Reggiani. A narrative that will also feed the list of films where the fashion world crosses the theme of murder, like the giallo Four women for an assassin (1964) by Mario Bava or The Neon Demon (2015) by Nicolas Winding Refn.
