However, they will take up more space since the thickness of the iPhone 13 Mini would increase to 7.57 mm, against 7.31 mm for the iPhone 12 Mini. That of the iPhone 13 Pro Max would be 7.65 mm, against 7.4 mm previously.

This subtle change is more easily seen when looking at the location of the photo sensors. We notice in fact that the latter now forms a larger square than on the previous generation. This is even more noticeable on the Pro Max version since it gains 4.77 mm in width and 3.38 mm in height (against 3.06 mm in width and 0.14 mm in height less in the Mini version) .
