Last week at its 30th anniversary celebrations, Infiniti announced that it will eventually include the Apple Carplay and Android Auto software suites in its 2020 models. No Infiniti model was equipped with this popular technology. .
The system in question retains its name (InTouch), and remains a two-screen system. However, the manufacturer has announced that it has made changes to the interface, including Google Street and improving connectivity with wireless phones with Bluetooth. This will be faster and more stable thanks to a brand new module that includes a faster processor.
We also boast a better navigation system. Finally, the InTouch system will be able to accept 7 devices connected to its WiFi terminal.
The only Infiniti vehicle not to take advantage of these enhancements and the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is the QX60. So, we are assured that all 2020 models will be equipped.
