The future tablet of the Chinese company appears already on the Internet. And if it makes you think of tablets already on the market, this is normal, and Huawei does not seem to hide it.
While we still waiting to see the arrival of the Mediapad M6 in France, the first leaks on the next tablet Huawei already surfaced on the web, thanks to Android Headlines. The latter could be called "MatePad Pro" and would be a subtle mix between an iPad Pro and Galaxy Tab S6.
The starting point of a new range?
The name MatePad is not innocent. It is clearly inspired by the Mate range of the company, its flagship year-end that usually incorporate the most advanced technologies that can be found on a phone. Which would mean that this tablet should offer a powerful technical sheet, able to compete with what should be its main competitors: the iPad Pro and the Galaxy Tab S6.
Besides, one only has to look at the design adopted by Huawei's tablet. Its thin and even edges are clearly inspired by the Apple Pro model, as well as the straight metal frame. At the back, there are two photo modules that should be placed in exactly the same way as on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. And to stay in the Korean inspiration, the famous M-Pen would be compatible – a stylus that looks pretty like the S-Pen of the company of DJ Koh.
But Huawei does not hesitate to add a touch to the tablet with this punch visible on the slab probably Oled, and could accommodate a fingerprint reader – unless the company decides to use an unlock solution facial. For the rest, the tablet could ship a Kirin 990 – which already equips the Mate 30 Pro – and 8 GB of RAM. The MatePad Pro would come out in 4 different colors – black, white, blue and orange – and would be compatible with the firm's magnetic keyboard.
