A week before the official presentation of Huawei's very first headset, the FreeBuds Studio has already seen its features and design unveiled by the German site WinFuture.
On October 22, Huawei is expected to present its very first Bluetooth headset, the FreeBuds Studio. While the manufacturer has already launched true wireless headphones, but also neckband headphones or connected speakers, this should be the Chinese brand's first foray into this sector.
One week before the presentation, the German site WinFuture has already drawn the main lines of the announcement planned by Huawei. Indeed, in an article published this Thursday, the journalist Roland Quandt unveiled the characteristics, but also the design of this new Huawei FreeBuds Studio headset. It confirms, as you might expect, that Huawei's headset will not only be Bluetooth, but also feature an active noise reduction system. A positioning that should put it against the Sony WH-1000XM4 and Bose Headphones 700. The noise reduction should reduce ambient sounds up to 40 dBA. A physical button would manage the noise reduction.
An autonomy which should rise to twenty hours
Sound emission would be provided by a 40mm transducer within each ear cup. The headset is also said to be compatible with Bluetooth 5.2, although it is not yet clear what audio codecs are used. In addition, on the connection side, we should find a USB-C socket for recharging. This would allow the FreeBuds Studio to be recharged in 1 hour and 10 minutes, while a 10 minute charge would restore five hours of battery life. The 410 mAh battery should provide 20 hours of listening or 15 hours of call time.

Note also that the helmet should weigh 215 grams and would be available in two colors: black or gold. Overall, the design of the headset is reminiscent of what Sony can offer with its WH-1000XM4.
The presentation of the Huawei Freebuds Studio headset is expected on October 22, at the same time as the future Huawei Mate 40. It is on this occasion that we should have the full characteristics of the headset, but also its price and availability in France.
