Huawei is obviously on the verge of launching direct competitors of the AirPods Pro: the FreeBuds Pro. Renderings and photos have surfaced and now allow you to appreciate their design from all angles.
Our colleagues from Gizchina have just spotted on the Twitter account of the famous leaker Evan Blass photos and renderings of the next Huawei True Wireless headphones. And the least we can say is that they talk a lot about Apple's AirPods Pro, leaving little doubt about their direct competitor. The headphones are indeed very similar to the latter, especially their headphone part. The rest of the device is however comparatively all angles and edges (which seems a little less ergonomic).
It appears the rectangular shape of part of the device is a deliberate choice so as not to resemble too much the AirPods Pro and to avoid further inciting Washington's wrath. The firm is indeed already very hard hit by the American sanctions on the mobile market. In addition to the design similarities of the headphones themselves, we can also note that the case seems very close to what Apple offers with its AirPods both in terms of shape and general appearance.
What is even more obvious on the photo in which we see the white color. Unlike Apple Airpods Pro, FreeBuds Pro indeed seem to be available in at least three colors, black, white, and a surprising metallic gray color. No information on their technical sheet and price is currently available. There are only four slots on the angular part which suggests the presence of ambient microphones essential for active noise reduction. As well as a design of the head of the earpiece just as ergonomic as at Apple.

Also, the load appears to go through contacts at the base of the rod. However, we should know much more by the end of the week. Huawei is due to present the new headphones along with other surprises at an online event on September 10, 2020.
