Recovering a Wi-Fi connection password is seldom easy if you haven't written it down somewhere or saved it in a password manager. One of the solutions to find it would be to connect to the interface of your box or your router to access the password protecting your connection.
But there is a much faster way to find a Wi-Fi connection password if you have an Android smartphone.
1. Open Settings
Enter Android settings and go to the section dedicated to Network and Internet. Then access the Wi-Fi connection.
2. Enter the registered networks
From the Wi-Fi connection settings page, scroll through all the options and enter the menu Registered networks.
Then select the network for which you want to display the password. In connection details, press the button Share and confirm your identity using the module used by your smartphone (fingerprint sensor, facial recognition, etc.).
Wi-Fi sharing should automatically display a QR Code that can be scanned by any device equipped with a photo sensor capable of reading QR Codes so that they automatically connect to the network.
You will also find the password in clear at the bottom of the page, to allow you to enter it manually on your devices that are not compatible with reading the QR Code.
