From the inaccessible bramble tree …

The story is pretty, told by Andrew Willis and his wife Delphine: “When we bought a house in Cadillac, it was completed with a plot of about 2,000 m² on the edge of the Euille, overgrown with vegetation. We then began to clear this place which gave us a nice surprise. It is bounded on one side by the river and on the other by an intact portion of the rampart, with the Ducal Castle as a backdrop. Part of Cadillac's history was hidden under the brambles! "

They got down to a huge task, their dreams taking shape as they cleaned up and cleared the land. Their friends joined them, and they thus filled the slack hours of confinement, in a silence disturbed only by the songs of birds and the lapping of the water.

In their circle, Élodie Valeix, programmer, was sorry for the void caused by the pandemic which deprived the crowds of their usual festivals and events, of the forced availability of artists. “We have to bring them here! ".

… At the lively tavern

Delphine, an architect by profession, worked on the regulations and the project was completed in May. An association is created, its name is "Les jetées", president Marc Vincent, treasurer Delphine Willis and Andrew Willis, co-founder.
