A few weeks ago, we presented you the summary of a Toyota presentation, which introduced us to everything that was new in the range for the year 2021. This week, it's Lexus' turn to go under the magnifying glass. As you will see, not all models benefit from changes, but some have significant changes.
Here is Shopicar! All models of the year and all current promotions.
Let's see what Toyota's luxury division has in store for the next year.
With the UX 250h models, a two-tier cargo area configuration improves capacity by 26%. New colors are also on the menu for 2021.
With the hybrid version NX 300h, a new special edition F Sport is offered, in black or blue. It features a black interior with blue stitching and specific 18-inch alloy wheels. Small changes are also going on with the equipment of some variants.

A version emphasizing black is added to the range for 2021. You will find it under the name of Black Edition, or simply Accent Noir, in French. It adds an F Sport interior combining black and white and featuring blue stitching, 20-inch alloy wheels (black), as well as model-specific carpets and styling features.

Same addition for the brand's biggest SUV, the LX. In this specific case, we are talking about an aging model that badly needs new blood to remain relevant.
Sedans follow on the NEXT PAGE
The ES sedan also inherits a Black Edition package, but in its case, the changes are more numerous. First, it's interesting to note that an all-wheel-drive version is added to the family. The latter will be powered by a 4-cylinder engine offering 203 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque. An F Sport package is also available with this new variant.

The IS compact sedan is new for 2021. There is talk of a new generation at Lexus, but it's more of a major refresh. The mechanics are the same while aesthetic changes affecting the model.
There is still a widened track which should translate into more aplomb on the road, especially since as a bonus, the torsional rigidity has been improved. The F Sport 3 Series Package includes adaptive variable suspension, carbon fiber elements to match the mirror covers and rear spoiler, as well as 19-inch BBS wheels.
Also, the new TSS + 2.5 safety suite is featured with more features, including an intersection assistance system during a left turn (recognition of pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles). IS sedans are served with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa apps. New 8 and 10.3-inch touch screens (option) are also available and their location has been moved to be more accessible to the driver.

A new Black Line edition is added to the catalog. It is based on the RC 350 F Sport 3 version. It offers mirrors, exhaust tips, wheels and a grille where black dominates. An electronic parking brake replaces the one that was activated with the foot until now.
There are other small changes to the equipment of some variants, but it's nothing major. New colors are also available for the body.
Finally, on the LC side, this year we are entitled to the arrival of the convertible variant. The latter benefits from the 5-liter, 471-horsepower V8 engine of the regular version. This block allows a time of 4.6 seconds at 0-96 km / h. The model also benefits from modifications to its structure, so that it can offer the same rigidity as the coupe.
The roof it carries has four layers and is uncovered in 15 seconds (16 for closing).
With the regular version, the Android Auto app joins Apple CarPlay on the list of standard equipment. Changes have also been made to the rear shocks in the Performance Package to improve comfort and handling.
In closing, let us recall the departure of the GS sedan for the next year, a very sad news considering the quality of the model. As for the GX SUV, it returns unchanged for 2021, which explains its absence here.
