While H&M and PVH – known for their brands Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger – have just opened factories in Ethiopia, the NGO SOMO is interested in the challenges of the clothing industry in this country with an economic model still in its infancy . And to clarify that"There is no evidence that these companies are making the necessary efforts to ensure that workers who work for their suppliers are paid minimum or living wages".
