With his dual Franco-American culture, artist Charlélie Couture is an inspired man when it comes to talking about food. Between French know-how and American delicacies, the field of possibilities is vast. He also brought back from one of his trips to New Mexico a rather confusing ice cream recipe called “Bingo”. He shares it at the microphone of Laurent Mariotte in the show The table of the good living on Europe 1.
“Bingo is an ice cream that I tasted for the first time in New Mexico, at a friend’s house,” recalls Charlélie Couture. “It’s pretty easy to do and it works every time. You make a scoop of vanilla ice cream on which we pour a teaspoon of olive oil. Then, we add a few pinches of coarse salt on top. and, as a finishing touch, soluble coffee. ” And if you want to serve a refined dessert, the artist recommends adding a “tuft of whipped cream”. Surprising accords which nevertheless fill the taste buds of Charlélie Couture’s children with joy.
