Separate the whites from the yolks and put the yolks and whites in separate bowls.

Add the baking powder, flour and milk to the yolks and mix well with a whisk.

Beat the whites until stiff, add a pinch of salt and incorporate them into the egg yolk mixture.

Heat a pan, place a knob of butter, and place two or three pancakes (the dough, thick, spreads little and makes circles if you pour gently with a small ladle) and cook for one to two minutes on each side.

The pancakes should be golden brown.

Serve with maple syrup, or bacon, melted butter, crème fraîche, banana, chocolate etc.
