The Stelvio has been on the market for three years now. A highly important vehicle for Alfa Romeo which had so far never made an SUV against the Germans, who have become the kings of the genre in the top of the range. The task was therefore complicated, but Alfa Romeo bet on an argument forgotten by competitors, including BMW: the real pleasure of driving.
Giulia and Stelvio are therefore a perfect illustration of this important purchasing criterion for buyers, even if, in the end, it is above all companies that are the first customers in this segment. While waiting for the restyling, and especially the Tonale, the Stelvio is therefore the most important item in the catalog.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio: driving first
1st marketing: March 2017
Prices: from 41,500 €
Even if it is an SUV that must meet family needs, the Stelvio does not forget to delight whoever is behind the wheel, with, probably, one of the sharpest behaviors. of the segment. The platform, shared with the Giulia, offers an impressive response and dynamism.
Add to this the presence of the excellent ZF automatic gearbox, present by other manufacturers (BMW, Jaguar), and you get a very pleasant model to drive, especially since the range of engines and versions is wide: 200 and 280 hp in gasoline, 160, 190 and 210 hp in diesel. And then, of course, for those who want excellence, there is always the Stelvio QV and its original Ferrari 510 hp V6!
