Jaguar's offering has grown significantly in recent years, with three new SUVs. Unsurprisingly, the smaller one, the E-Pace, quickly became Jaguar's bestseller here. He is doing the best at the Caradisiac Auto Show in the company of the F-Type, which has just been revised with a new face.
But these launches did not prevent Jaguar from finding itself in a most difficult position. With its compatriot Land Rover, the financial results are bad, the mark suffering in particular from a fall in sales of diesel, which it cannot compensate for lack of hybrids.

E-Pace: access feline
Marketed at the end of 2017
From 150 to 300 hp
From 37,100 €
Casually, Jaguar offers a compact model! The E-Pace is indeed 4.41 meters in length, so it is a little smaller than a Mercedes Class A! It is therefore a model of access to the Jaguar universe. We are also surprised by its small size when we see it in real life, the effect being reinforced by the inclined bezel … and even more when it is equipped with huge rims. Its look is inspired by that of the F-Type, before however it changes its look (see below). The interior is also coupe / roadster-inspired, with a center console surrounded by a J-shaped element. The presentation has aged a bit, although there are large screens. The finish is especially perfectible. The trunk has a good capacity of 577 dm3.
Launched in 2017, the E-Pace may especially suffer from the lack of hybridization in its offer. We therefore find classic blocks, with diesels of 150, 180 and 240 hp and gasoline of 200, 250 and 300 hp. Only the 150 hp is satisfied with two driving wheels, which makes it possible to lower the entry ticket to 37,100 €. Yes when we say that it is accessible, it is on the scale of Jaguar! But his big brother F-Pace starts 10,000 € higher.

F-Type restyled: beauty preserved
Marketed early 2020 (restyling)
Coupe and roadster
From 300 to 575 hp
From 64,490 €
Appeared at the end of 2012, the F-Type could be a granny on the market. But she has no wrinkles! Proof that the pencil stroke was a success. However, the car underwent a second restyling in early 2020 to stay current. This is visible at first glance, thanks to the adoption of new thin and horizontal headlights, in place of the large headlights which went up along the bonnet. With this new look and its lowered mouth, the F-Type has gained in aggressiveness. At the rear, the lights have evolved slightly with a more angular base and a light signature inspired by I-Pace.
On board, there were few changes during the restyling. We especially note the arrival of digital instrumentation. Multimedia is also up to date. The presentation is sporty with a center console border that forms a grab handle. The central aerators deploy when starting up, a fun gadget that gives a little James Bond car side!
In terms of range, the offer has been simplified in France. The Access model is a four-cylinder 300 hp rear-wheel drive. Then we go straight to the 5.0-liter V8 with 450 hp (propulsion or four-wheel drive) or 575 hp four-wheel drive.
