Jenson Button will make his British GT debut at the Silverstone 500 meeting on November 7th and 8th. The 2009 F1 World Champion will drive the McLaren 720S GT3 / Jenson Team Rocket RJN in the three-hour race.
The Briton will share his seat with Chris Buncombe, longtime friend of Jenson Button and co-owner of the team.
This will be his first competitive appearance at Silverstone since F1 in 2016. "This will be my first glimpse of a GT3 but I'm really looking forward to it", Button said. “It will be great to join our team and join the crew in the McLaren 720S GT3 with my best friend Chris Buncombe. It’s great to be back for a run on British soil. "
The other McLaren on the team will again be driven by James Baldwin and Michael O’Brien.
