In addition to the entry-level Lounge version, the xDrive30e is also available in Business Design finishes (€ 60,700), Xline (€ 64,900), M Sport (€ 67,400) and Luxury (€ 68,400).
Like many manufacturers, the BMW group continues to electrify its range. Given its success, the BMW X3 will soon be available with a conventional heat engine, a rechargeable hybrid system or a 100% electric motor.
baptized xDrive30e, the vehicle combines a 4-cylinder engine 2l with a power of 184 horses with an electric motor built into the Steptronic 8-speed gearbox 109 horses. The cumulative power of the rechargeable hybrid system is therefore 293 horses. The vehicle cuts the 0 to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds and records a maximum speed of 210 km / h. The lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 12 kWh promises an electric autonomy between 51 and 55 kilometers, and a top speed of the order of 135 km / h in all-electric mode. Located under the rear seats, it allows to optimize the space in the cabin and trunk: 450 liters (against 550 liters in thermal version) up to 1500 liters when the seats are folded. The battery can be fully charged on a domestic outlet in less than 6 hours while on a Walbox BMW i the process requires 3:30.
The new BMW X3 xDrive30e will be produced next month at the Spartanburg plant in the United States. It will be marketed in spring 2020 from € 58,940 in Lounge finish.
