BMW: Restyled Serie 5 and Serie 6 GT soon to be presented – The Automobilist

It is Wednesday May 27, 2020 that BMW will officially unveil the new restyled Serie 5 (G30 / G31) and Serie 6 GT (G32).
This presentation should not reveal any exceptional or surprising elements since we already know the front side of those two Munich cars which benefit at the end of May from their half-life facelift.

If we judge by the official images of the teaser, these are the front and rear faces of Serie 5 and Serie 6 which are touched up with redesigned shields, revised headlights and lights as well as the grille which should discreetly evolve to stick to the latest developments imposed by the Bavarian style center.
It is not known if BMW has modified the on-board furniture or if the manufacturer has contented itself with a simple update.

The restyling of 2020 will also see the evolution of finishes, equipment endowments, body colors, upholstery and inserts and the arrival of new aluminum rims.

With the L6 3.0 L 40i?

There is no official information at the moment about the technical and mechanical evolutions of the two models.
However, noises from the corridors make it possible to evoke the possible arrival of the L6 3.0 L TwinPower Turbo with double Vanos and variable lift of the Valvetronic valves of the M340i with a power of 374 hp and a torque of 500 Nm.
The BVA8 and the xDrive transmission should be part of it with this engine deemed to be very pleasant and efficient.

To discover in 4 days.
