Derived from competition and designed for high speeds, the twin-turbo V8 of the BMW M5 Competition makes all its power speak and seduces with its athletic character and vigor.
The BMW M5 accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.3 seconds, a performance worthy of a super sports car. It only takes 10.8 seconds to reach 200 km / h from a standing start.
The top speed of the BMW M5 Competition is 250 km / h, or 305 km / h with the optional M Driver package.
The sound matches the performance thanks to the two-line exhaust system controlled by a valve system. In addition, the driver can opt for a more moderate sound by pressing the M Sound Control button.
The standard eight-speed Sport transmission offers extremely short gear changes and a response that is as quick as it is precise with every press of the accelerator.

Two red M1 and M2 buttons, located next to the gearshift paddles on the M multifunction steering wheel, allow you to quickly switch between two custom configurations for the M xDrive system, dynamic stability control, engine, transmission, shocks and steering, as well as the appearance of the M display in the HUD heads-up display.
