According to the very serious BMW Blog, the reveal of the new BMW M3 and M4 will take place on September 23.
While BMW has just formalized the development of the M3 Touring station wagon – a historic first for the German brand – we now learn that the M3 and M4 should be presented on September 23. The information comes from the BMW Blog, which quotes one of its readers who has seen the models before.
Indeed, the Munich manufacturer has started to show the new generation M3 sedan and the M4 coupe behind closed doors. According to the same source, during the presentation, the cars will sport the green "Isle of Man" tint for the M3 and yellow "Sao Paolo" for the M4. It seems that BMW has exhibited the more radical "Competition" versions, including features in carbon fiber.
Minimum 480 hp and 510 hp for Competition
Remember that the new BMW M3 and M4 will have under the hood a 6-cylinder 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine developing 480 horsepower. This will be pushed to 510 hp on the Competition versions. Customers can choose between manual or automatic transmission and two- or four-wheel drive.
