To celebrate 40 years of the quattro system Audi has decided to release a limited edition car. Surprisingly, the Audi TT RS was chosen as the basis for this anniversary model. For the occasion, a Audi TT RS 40 Years of quattro very "Pikes Peak" will be produced in 40 copies.

40 years ago Audi revolutionized the world of rallying and cars with its quattro system. A name that speaks to all fans of the German brand as well as lovers of four-wheeled racing cars. To celebrate this anniversary, Audi has decided to produce a special limited edition car. Surprisingly enough, the TT RS was selected. The result is a very attractive Audi TT RS 40 Years of quattro.
Visually, this TT RS 40 Years of quattro is inspired by the Audi S1 quattro driven by Walter Röhrl during the 1987 Pikes Peak edition. A livery which was already inspired by those of the quattro entered in the WRC in the early 80s. In addition to this specific livery a spoiler was added, specific black painted side sills and a few front appendages were added. This model is also equipped with beautiful 20 ″ white rims.
The interior also incorporates some decorative elements from the exterior livery. Moreover, the presence of Alcantara reinforces the sporty side of the car without forgetting the comfort. There is an option to remove the rear seat and replace it with a carbon reinforcement. A numbered plate will be inserted on the gear lever.
Under the engine, nothing new since we find the 2.5-liter TFSI developing 400hp. TheAudi TT RS 40 Years of quattro will be marketed only in 40 copies. All are reserved for the German market. The price of this anniversary edition is 114,000 €, a little more than double the basic version of the TT RS.
