Audi opens orders for plug-in hybrid versions (50 TFSI e and 55 TFSI e) of its restyled Q5 and its “Sportback” version. Prices start at € 62,990.
Restyled in the summer of 2020, the Q5, and its new “coupe” version called “Sportback” presented a few weeks later, are now equipped with two new engines.
Up to now offered in gasoline and diesel (with 48V light hybridization), here they are too available in plug-in hybrid. Two engines are put on sale on the French market: the 50 TFSI e and 55 TFSI e.
299 or 367 hp for the Q5 and Q5 Sportback PHEV
In both cases, we find a 265 hp 2.0L TFSI four-cylinder engine and a 143 hp electric unit. This combination develops 299 hp and 450 Nm of torque on the 50 TFSI e version and 367 hp and 500 Nm on the 55 TFSI e.
The lithium-ion battery is identical to the two models and has a capacity of 17.9 kWh (compared to 14.1 kWh previously), which offers autonomy between 56 and 62 km.
Audi also announces a combined consumption in the combined cycle (WLTP) of between 1.5 to 2.0 l / 100 km and CO2 emissions limited between 35 and 42 g / km for the Q5 and between 36 and 43 g / km for the Q5 Sportback.
As standard, we find 18-inch rims, tri-zone automatic air conditioning, rear parking assistance, the 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive.
