Audi continues to expand its range of green vehicles with the "S" version of the e-tron and e-tron Sportback now available for configuration.
Now is the time for the Ingolstadt firm to launch a sporty version in the range of its electric SUV e-tron. Even if this big fellow did not lack power with 360 hp in the "55" version. The addition of a third engine at the front of 95 kW will allow the SUV as well as its Sportback version to reach 503 hp in boost mode and 973 Nm of torque for a maximum speed of 210 km / h (restricted). The 0 to 100 would be sent in just 4.5 seconds. But the weight, already extremely heavy on the basic version, may increase further.
Up to 370 km of autonomy
According to the WLTP cycle, it would be possible to make 364 to 370 km of autonomy, with respectively e-tron S and e-tron S Sportback. These announcements are obviously optimistic, since we have only noted 300 km on the road during a previous test of the 55 version of 360 hp. With the most large recharging capacity, the imposing connected backpacker can go from 5 to 80% in just half an hour on the right terminals, while homeowners can choose 230V and 400V at home. Torque vector control makes its appearance on both variants, in order to offer more agility to these two large riders. The "S" grinds are available with 20-inch rims as standard. Prices start at € 96,600 for the e-tron S, and € 99,200 for the Sportback variant. No doubt they will be higher with us.
