Since June and the announcement by Nokia of the elimination of 1,233 jobs, employees at the Nozay sites in Île-de-France and Lannion in Brittany have been fighting against layoffs disguised as "voluntary departures".
Monday 19, they were 200 in front of the gates of Lannion to protest, "locked outside", because the management had closed the gates to block their demonstration. The next day, the day of the central social and economic committee (CSE), the workers again gathered in Nozay and held a general assembly in Lannion. A few days later, the group announced that it had revised its social plan, with 250 fewer job cuts, which makes 986 jobs cut! This first setback of the management of Nokia, which calls for others, is to be put to the credit of the mobilization of the employees.
