Aston Martin plans to launch three small series models each year according to a specific plan.
Among the many announcements of early 2020 relating to the operation of Aston Martin is the organization of launches of special models, namely small series, reissues and other unique cars from the British manufacturer. The Gaydon firm plans to present three vehicles of this type each year.
The special projects will be distributed in this way: two new models and a "heritage" car in line with the recent DB4 GT and DB4 GT Zagato "Continuation", therefore re-releases of Aston Martin from the past.
The 2020 vintage at least partly known
One of the two contemporary special models slated for 2020 by Aston Martin is expected to be the recently announced twin-turbo V12 twin-turbo speedster. Inspired by the DBR1 of 1959 and the CC100 of 2013, the machine should only be produced at 88 copies. The second modern special vehicle of this year could be the DBS GT Zagato whose production is to begin this year but, the car having been unveiled in 2019, a model not yet announced is not to be excluded.
Finally, the new "heritage" of 2020 will probably be the DB5 "Goldfinger" equipped with the gadgets of the James Bond car, announced in 2019 but not yet revealed in its final version, whose deliveries are scheduled for this year.
