AnTuTu has just lifted the veil on the top 10 most powerful Android smartphones of September 2020. As always, the benchmarking tool has published a top dedicated to premium phones and a top reserved for mid-range smartphones.
This October 12, AnTuTu put online the monthly top most powerful Android smartphones. To achieve these rankings, AnTuTu relies on the results generated by users in the Chinese market. It is therefore not surprising that the results highlight devices absent from the European market.
The top 10 high-end Android smartphones
On the high end, these are moreover the Vivo Iqoo 5 and 5 Pro which take the lead in the ranking, just ahead of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra in its 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage version. Vivo's two flagships are powered by the Snapdragon 865, Qualcomm's flagship chipset. In fourth place, we find another production of Vivo, the X50 Pro +, still with Snapdragon 865.
Then we find the Lenovo Legion Pro, a smartphone for gamers powered by the SoC Snapdragon 865 Plus, a boosted version of the chipset. It is followed by the ROG Phone 3 from Asus, another gaming-oriented smartphone with Snapdragon 865 Plus. The selection closes with the BlackShark 3S, the Oppo Find X2 and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.
The top 10 mid-range Android smartphones
Mid-range side, it is the Redmi 10X Pro 5G which stands out in number 1. The smartphone is powered by the Mediatek SoC Dimensity 820 coupled with 8 GB of RAM. In second place is the standard version of the Redmi 10X 5G. Thanks to its Kirin 985 chip developed by HiSilicon, a Huawei subsidiary, the Honor 30 climbs to third place.
We also find the Huawei Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro, still with Kirin 985, the Honor X10 and Honor 30S and the Huawei Nova 7 SE. These last three productions benefit from the Kirin 920. The Oppo Reno 4 5G and Redmi K30 5G bring up the rear. On the mid-range, the ranking is therefore dominated by Mediatek and HiSilicon. We only find the Snapdragon 768G and 765G at the end of the top. What do you think of the top published by AnTuTu? We await your opinion in the comments.
