Like BMW and Mercedes, the extendable range of Audi stands for responsible news. And things will load even more from 2022 with the real beginnings of the electric offensive on the MEB and PPE platforms.
The first novelties of spring 2020 belong to the Sportback family, but in a very different genre. The eTron Sportback has already been presented, the A3 will soon be in the renewal wave of the group’s compact sedans. But there will be no more A3 with 3 doors. Nor a convertible. The 4-door sedan will however still be there at the end of the year. As well as a restyled Q2.
2021 will be a transition year in electrification. Earlier this year, Audi will launch the turd GT derived from the Taycan. And therefore based on a "DIY" platform for electrical. It will be the last of its kind at Audi. At the end of the year, the Q4 eTron will arrive, based on the MEB platform, planned from birth for electrics. In between, many restyling: A6, A7, A8 and Q5. The latter will be accompanied by a brand new Q5 Sportback.
Already time of restyling for Q3, and Q3 Sportback, as A1, in 2022. In the autumn, a new A4 will come and will be followed some months later by the A5. But the latter will happen in the future Sportback version. Marking the beginning of the end for many models in the range, replaced with electric models. The Q6 eTron will be the first electric Audi based on the PPE platform. He will be replacing the turd and will be followed quickly by a turd Q6 sportback.
