Last week, Acura showed a sketch of the styling reserved for the next generation of the MDX SUV that will be presented on October 14, next week. Yesterday, the Japanese manufacturer did the same to give us a glimpse of the interior.
The published images show a little more than the sketch showing the MDX's dress. Thus, we are able to make some more precise deductions here.
First, it's Acura that says it, the MDX's dashboard is lower and wider. The interior benefits from open-pore woodwork and the leather upholstery found on the dashboard is hand-assembled with a haute couture process. The three rows of seats benefit from quilted surfaces with perforations in a gradient pattern, and the piping and stitching are contrasted. The front seats offer a massage function, which adds to the experience of great luxury.

Acura promises plenty of new technology on board, including what it calls the Acura Precision Cockpit, as well as a powerful high-definition multimedia system and an ELS Studio 3D audio system with 25 speakers.
Also note the width of the multimedia system screen. We also note the presence of the touchpad giving it access to the central console. Let's just hope for an approach that is less raging than the one discovered with the RDX, marked by vagueness.
Moreover, one can expect a high quality environment, the brand having accustomed us to a rigor in the choice of materials and the quality of assembly over the decades.
