Recently, we learned how a company transformed a Rolls Royce into an electric car. A modification then motivated by the ecological dimension. But the initiative of the London design studio Niels van Roij Design is quite different, as 20 Minutes details in developing an ultra-luxurious station wagon. A vehicle that it is of course still possible to customize, but for which the price has not been disclosed. However, only seven copies will be produced.
It is therefore an ultra-luxurious station wagon, with a carbon roof and a tailgate that allows access to the trunk. Under the hood, the V12 mechanics have been changed since the vehicle now reaches 690 hp compared to 624 originally. The company also proposes to change the colors, or to bet on a leather interior with embroidery. The vehicle is based on the Rolls Royce Wraith, a four-seater coupe from the British manufacturer, produced since 2013. This new version, dubbed "Silver Specter", details TopGear is of course not an official model. But, the company Niels van Roji Design, which relied on the Belgian coachbuilder Carat Duchatelet already has some experience since it gave birth to a Tesla Model S Shooting Brake or even a Range Rover Coupé.

"With this spectacularly designed vehicle, we subtly revive the heyday of the hunting station wagons of the 1930s, while incorporating the iconic and harmonious styling elements of British automotive classics," explains the London studio. Seven models will be produced, but the price is unknown. Small clue, the standard Rolls Royce Wraith is already worth more than 300,000 euros …
