Finally, sunny days seem to want to settle more permanently. Here is an easy, economical and user-friendly recipe idea.
Mid-season sun pie
For 4 people – 15 min. of preparation – 30 min of cooking
2 puff pastry – 1 white onion – 125 g smoked bacon – 10 g thick crème fraîche – 20 g grated cheese – 1 egg yolk (to brown, the white can be used for soldering) – salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (th 6). Peel and mince the onion. Gently brown it with a little oil in a pan, then add the bacon, salt and pepper. Let them cook for a few minutes. Roll out a puff pastry on a buttered baking sheet. Spread the cream, distribute the contents of the pan and cover with the second puff pastry, pressing everywhere to weld the whole (you can also weld the edges with the white of the raw egg).
Place a glass in the center of the pie and cut into small pieces, starting from the glass on the outside. Twist these "parts" of dough by gently turning them and taking care never to detach them from the center of the pie.
Brush everything with egg yolk using a brush and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake the pie for 25 to 30 min. Of cooking, until it is golden brown.
Serve with a green salad.
