The rechargeable hybrid grinding of the German manufacturer's Class A has just unveiled its prices. Admittedly, these are displayed above the thermal versions, but they remain within a reasonable range.
In mid-August, Mercedes announced to pass its sedans and compact Class A and Class B to the plug-in hybrid, but without revealing the amount to pay to acquire them. The mystery is now lifted. A few days ago, the brand to the star revealed in detail the prices of its Class A with the rechargeable hybrid engine, a 1.3-liter 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine coupled with a 75 kW power unit delivering a cumulative power of 218 horsepower.
Quality without breaking the bank
Renamed 250th, this model adopting technology "EQ Power" comes in two finishes: Progressive Line to 41,850 euros and AMG Line to 43,550 euros. A fairly salty addition but which is in line with the current competitors, even under the bar of the Volvo S60, around 60,000 euros. Especially with its lithium-ion battery of 15.6 kWh the autonomy of the A250e is between 61 and 76 kilometers (WLTP cycle). Moreover, the additional cost of the electric motor compared to the thermal is only 5,600 euros, even a little less if we remember that the hybrid will escape the ecological malus when the A200 petrol, for example, it will be subject to it.
