The images of the accident are impressive: an Audi R8 sprayed a good dozen cars in a street in Nanterre early this morning. The car, cut in half, finished its race on the road, the engine in a ball of fire. Fortunately, no injuries or deaths are to be deplored.
The video showing the desolate scene after this accident in Nanterre is impressive, and the fireball you see is none other than the engine, on fire and ejected from the Audi R8 which has been cut squarely in two pieces.
According to our colleagues from the Parisian, the R8 would have been rented as part of a marriage with other models (including a Porsche 911) before ending its sad race in this avenue, where the coupe has hit more than ten residents' cars.
Residents who came out to see the damage, stunned, but who could not have an explanation from the driver and his passenger: they had already left the scene. They had all the same taken the time to film themselves in front of the car, with a very light tone, being practically proud to have destroyed the car and to be out safely.
Fortunately, it was 5 am and no injuries or deaths are to be deplored. The most difficult task for the police now will be to find who was behind the wheel at the time of the accident, since the car has certainly changed hands a number of times.
