The ranking point:
We have a new leader after the first eight hours of racing. Indeed, with an offbeat strategy, the # 66 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Audi Sport Team Attempto Racing (Frederic Vervisch) is leading the 2020 24 Hours of Spa at midnight.
However, the “real” leader remains the # 88 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Mercedes-AMG Team AKKA ASP still driven by Raffaele Marciello. Fifty seconds separate them. Rowe Racing's # 98 Porsche 911 GT3-R (Nick Tandy) is 3rd. Another Porsche follows, the # 54 of Dinamic Motorsport (Matteo Cairoli) in front of the Ferrari 488 GT3 # 51 AF Corse (Alessandro Pier Guidi), 5th.
The other officially supported Mercedes-AMG, the # 4 of Mercedes-AMG Team HRT is 6th ahead of three Porsche 911 GT3-Rs: the # 47 of KCMG, the # 22 of Frikadelli Racing and the # 12 of GPX Racing. K-Pax Racing's Bentley Continental # 3 closes the top 10. However, that makes us five 911s in the top 10!
The Lamborghini Huracan GT3 # 63 Orange 1 FFF Racing Team that was in the lead for a long time has not disappeared, it has just shifted in terms of refueling. She is 12th.
Pro Am : No change from our 6th hour point. Garage 59’s # 188 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 leads ahead of SKY – Tempesta Racing’s # 93 Ferrari 488 GT3 and Barwell Motorsport’s # 77 Lamborghini Huracan GT3.
Silver : The Lamborghini Huracan EVO # 78 of Barwell Motorsport (Patrick Kujala) is still well attached to the head of its class and precedes the Mercedes-AMG GT3 # 5 of HRT and the Mercedes-AMG # 89 of AKKA ASP which points its nose for the first time on the provisional podium.
Am : The Lamborghini Huracan # 129 from Raton Racing is still the leader.
10:10 p.m.: Green flag after the # 31 Audi R8 LMS was evacuated from Audi Sport Team WRT who retired in place

10:40 p.m .:

Huracan GT3 # 77 of Barwell Motorsport for excessive speed in the pits. She
was 3e in Pro Am.
10:44 p.m .: While Earl Bamber had taken the
race controls with the # 98 ROWE Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R (it has not changed
his tires), Raffaele Marciello (Mercedes-AMG # 88) takes back control
22:49: the # 56 Dinamic Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3-R comes to a stop at the last corner.
10:55 p.m .: Full Course Yellow following the evacuation of Porsche # 56 on truck
11:00 p.m .: green flag

Audi Club Team WRT returning to idle (puncture)
11:40 p.m.: Formalized retirement for the Mercedes-AMG
# 111 from JP Motorsport and the # 56 Porsche 911 GT3-R from Dinamic Motorsport
11:45 p.m .: Raffaele Marciello is 3e and overtakes Dennis Lind (Lamborghini # 63) before the Raidillon. The # 66 Audi R8 LMS is in the lead, but with an offbeat strategy!
11:59 p.m .: Lamborghini # 63 is at its stand, which is not necessarily normal. We shift!
12:08 am: touch between the Lexus # 15 and the Lamborghini Huracan # 163
