After ten hours of racing at the 24 Hours of Daytona, the first IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship meeting is led by the Cadillac DPi-VR / Chip Ganassi Racing of Kevin Magnussen, Renger van der Zande and Scott Dixon.
The # 01 crew is 9.3s ahead of the Acura ARX-05 DPi / Wayne Taylor Racing of Ricky Taylor, Filipe Albuquerque, Alexander Rossi and Helio Castroneves. The # 10 lost some time in the 5th hour due to a problem with the rear right tire.
There are three other DPi in the leader’s lap with the Cadillacs entered by Ally Cadillac Racing and Whelen Engineering Racing, and the Acura / Meyer Shank Racing by Olivier Pla. The Mazda is a head turn.

The Ferarri 488 GT3 / AF Corse of Matteo Cressoni, Simon Mann, Nicklas Nielsen and Daniel Serra occupies the leadership in GTD with 16s ahead of the Lexus RC F GT3 / Vasser Sullivan # 14. The Lamborghini Huracan GT3 / Paul Miller Racing is just behind the Lexus.
Grasser Racing Team lost Franck Perera’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 (engine failure) and Mirko Bortolotti’s # 111 was delayed due to an electrical problem.
